FAQs

How is your approach different?

My approach is holistic and relationship-based, grounded in psychology, nervous system science, and lived experience. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your goals, with a focus on connection, daily function, and ease in everyday life. I integrate lifestyle and routine strategies when helpful, supporting sustainable change rather than only talking about the past.

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy is a holistic health practice that helps people of all ages engage fully in the activities that matter to them. It supports emotional well-being, builds routines, strengthens relationships, and helps navigate life transitions. By connecting mind, body, and environment, occupational therapy creates more balance, function, and ease in everyday life.

What does neurodivergence mean here?

Neurodivergence means experiencing and processing the world differently, and those differences are respected and welcomed. Whether you navigate ADHD, Autism, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or another difference, with or without a formal diagnosis, there is no pressure to change who you are. Support is about understanding your nervous system, embracing your strengths, and creating strategies to feel safe, connected, and supported.

How do you support clients with Autism or neurodivergent needs?

I work with neurodivergent clients in a way that honours their individuality, strengths, and lived experience. Support may include exploring emotional regulation, sensory needs, executive functioning, and practical strategies for daily life. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, helping clients build self-understanding and create routines, habits, and environments that feel supportive and sustainable.
